Tips, Tricks & Tidbits with Amanda Marie Portraits

Helllo SB readers! Today I’m talking about the ‘romantics.’ Whether your style wedding is country, modern, vintage, or classic, one thing is always the same. You need to set aside a time for the romantics.

What is the romantics?: These are photos that photographers call the shots where it’s just you and your man soaking in the day and taking romantic photos. It’s a wonderful time to reflect and take in everything thats wonderful about the day… each other.

When do you take them?: The good thing about these photos is that it really doesn’t matter when you take them, as long as you set a side a time on your wedding day timeline to take them at some point. For most brides, they either take them when they do the first look- but if that’s not an option for you, the other best time to take them is right after formal family photos and before the reception begins. (Just make if you take them directly before the reception that you set aside enough time, because you don’t want to miss too much time missing from your reception and guests.)

Overall, these are portraits that you will be able to hang in your home from your special day and are some of the most beautiful!

Here are a few of my favorites from past weddings of romantic shots I love.
