Silver and Rose Gold Rehearsal Dinner at Epernay Lounge

Silver and Rose Gold Rehearsal Dinner at Epernay Lounge

Last month I had the opportunity to produce a bridal event for Epernay Lounge, a fabulous champagne lounge located in the heart of Denver’s theater district.  This exciting opportunity also gave me the chance to work with some Denver’s most creative wedding professionals.  This party’esque bridal showcase named Pop Sip Celebrate featured a plethora of talented Colorado creatives and wedding trends galore. Our goal was to present both a styled rehearsal dinner and a wedding after-party, a growing trend we anticipate seeing much more of in 2018.  This week we’ll be featuring the gorgeous images from Pop Sip Celebrate in 3 parts; the rehearsal dinner, wedding after-party, and a dreamy wedding gown photo shoot – all captured by the one and only Levi Tijerina. Today we begin with a silver and rose gold rehearsal dinner

Our tablescape highlighted a mash-up of rose gold and silver dusted with tidbits of purple and pink. I was lucky enough to have Emma of Merci Bouquet provide the jaw-dropping centerpieces created from a collection of roses, tulips, hydrangea, anemone, lilacs and blue thistle.  We decided to mix-up the containers (all from Merci Bouquet’s inventory) which featured various shapes, sizes, and patterns. This blended well with Epernay’s aesthetics and offered a very elegant-eclectic meets industrial vibe. If you are in Denver and are in need of beautiful blooms, you will not go wrong commissioning this talented floral designer. Not to mention unbelievable stylist and all-around visionary. When I couldn’t find the right shade of rose gold flatware, it was Emma who said: “Let’s break out the spray paint!” And in two shakes I had the mismatched rose gold look I’d been searching for…

When wedding invitation and stationary designers Ella Vine & Co. agreed to work with me on Pop Sip Celebrate I think I may have literally squealed. I happen to call the dynamic duo behind Ella Vine & Co. friends, and can tell you they are as kind as they are stylish. And oh how I adore their style! First of all, they love all things anthro; and they are obsessed paper, fabulous fonts, and they effortlessly mix pretty patterns.  This is how I knew they would be the perfect partners for this event.  Ella Vine & Co. not only designed the gorgeous invitation suites for both the rehearsal dinner & wedding after-party, they also designed the Pop Sip Celebrate logo, invitation, and event collateral. But you’ll see more on this later this week….

I know what you’re thinking. Are these french macrons real or just for show?!  I can tell you they are real, and are also as yummy as they are pretty!  Glaze Baum Cakes is my number one go-to for these irresistible little cookies. These delicious little darlings are gluten-free, made from scratch each day, and filled with ganache or buttercream. Trust me when I tell you they totally melt in your mouth. French macrons make excellent hostess gifts, wedding favors, and…as you can see from the photos below, the most beautiful centerpieces. Instead of a dessert bar, we recommend trying a macron bar, or perhaps a macron tower to replace a traditional wedding cake. Your guests will love…especially if they get to take some home!

Epernay Lounge is ideal for weddings and parties because of it’s very clean lines, and neutral color palette of white, gray and metallic. We looked to Colorado Party Rentals when dressing our tables.  Not only was Colorado Party Rentals wonderful and so easy to work with, they also offer a stunning selection of linens, table settings, decor and furniture rentals to choose from.  I could have spent hours in their showroom.  Crystal rented us a pewter-colored linen as well as rose gold-rimmed plates that Emma and I fell in love with. You can see how nicely they paired with our antiqued-silver chargers, and Ikat patterned plates from West Elm.

Be sure to check out all of these talented wedding pros who helped make Pop Sip Celebrate a smashing success!  Stay tuned for part 2, the wedding after-party later this week.  In the mean time, here’s a little sneak peak teaser of what’s to come, captured by the extraordinary Mike Bradley of Visualanties! http://bit.ly/1zzLG0S
