20 Feb Introducing… Mondays with Madi!
Hey y’all! We have something special planned for you- a new contributor on the blog! Madi is a student at TCU and recently got engaged! She will be sharing her journey with as she moves “From Madi to M.R.S”. Please welcome her with warm hearts and kind words as she introduces her story!

I’ve got a few months of this engagement business under my belt now and I have found that my favorite part of it all has been sharing this time of celebration with my dear friends and family. I am so happy now to have the opportunity to share in my wedding-planning process with y’all here at TWPS!
Back in October the sweet love of my life popped the question (check out the precious action shots at the end of this post!) and since that day I’ve been so giddy as I’ve contemplated all the possibilities for our big day.
Now, it is important for y’all to know that I am a young one…not your common love story…but for us it is perfect and you’ll be sure to hear of all the exciting things we experience this next year. I will be walking across the stage at TCU commencement next December and then walking down the aisle just four weeks later! So far I have had quite the time balancing classes, one set of final exams, an internship, school involvements and now wedding planning. I’m not going to lie though… I’ve loved every moment. Each decision made brings a huge sense of accomplishment and even more excitement for what is ahead.
As an aspiring event/wedding coordinator I know that January 12, 2013 (our wedding date!) will not only be one of the sweetest celebrations in my lifetime but it will also serve as my greatest portfolio piece. In Mondays with Madi we’ll chat about colors, venues, vendors I’m using, DIY projects I’m taking on, music, design, and one of my favorite topics…food! Please join me each Monday as I share this journey through the crazy checklist of all things to be done before the much-anticipated walk down the aisle to my sweet beau and our life together.
