27 Sep Eco-Friendly, Functional & Modern Wedding Invitation
I always enjoy sharing how our signature trifold (affectionately named The Jilly Collection after my sister) was born. I have been a graphic designer for years and always had a love for paper. I had dabbled a little bit in invitations, but the BIG invitation project came when my sister was getting married. She wanted me to have full artistic freedom to design an invitation that reflected her fun personality. She gave me so much free reign, that she said she didn’t even need to see it before I went to print! (I know you brides are GASPING!) Once the invitations were sent out her fiance started getting phone calls and comments from HIS friends!!!! They kept commenting on how cool and ‘smart’ the invitation concept was. This was when I knew we were onto something if GUYS were commenting. The Jilly Collection was born.
What makes the design so ‘smart’ ? It is an all-in-one trifold invitation with perforated RSVP postcard and map! For the more eco-friendly bride its a great way to save on paper. For the modern bride its a non-traditional invitation while maintaining savvy design elements. And for the practical bride its simply functional.
This trifold style has been our best seller for the last 7 years. Every 4 out of 5 brides have chosen this style. So last year we decided to launch our line nationally by creating a collection of 25 designs. Each collection is anchored by a beautifully design trifold and is complemented with a program, menu, placecard, 5×7 social invitation and notecard. Patterned and solid envelope liners are also an option!
We proudly launched our line at the National Stationery Show in New York in May and are now featured in 65 stores nationwide!
