30 Oct A State Fair Engagement Session By Wish Photography
Today’s Engagement Session features two of my all-time favorite things. The State Fair and Caramel Apples. In my opinion these two things are kind of like peanut butter and jelly…they just belong together. Toss this darling couple on top of it and you gotchyer self one delicious photo shoot. Captured in Utah by talented Wish Photography this love-struck engagement shoot is filled with popcorn, cotton candy, carmel apples, games, and rides. A State Fair Engagement session is ideal because it offers a colorful backdrop and magical setting. And is yummy to boot! We’re told that this soon-to-be groom had never in his life eaten a caramel apple until this photo shoot. Excuse? Looks like this might have been his lucky day…a caramel apple and he got to lock lips with this beautiful blonde. 😉

Posted at 16:05h, 30 OctoberYou’d think that for engagement pictures you’d want to see the couple, not the ferris wheel, or the caramel apple, or their shoes. What about the faces of the couple? IMO these are all over-processed and take away from the couple which should be the focus.

Society Bride selects the final 15-20 photos to be published. We select these photos based on our wide readership. Many of our visitors are looking for inspiration for their own engagement photos and currently we find that artistic, editorial, and filtered photos tend to peak interest. However as wedding publishers we try to do our best to feature a variety of engagement sessions to appeal to the many different styles of our subscribers. As Robin said I did submit many other images to them, these are the ones they chose. Many of the ones I submitted were the ones that you saw there faces and what YOU might consider ‘standard’ engagement photography. This was a fun session which called for some fun creative editing and it was what my client wanted and what this session called for. If you wish, please check out my other work.
